I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. At this point, it would be best to speak to your insurance company as the fine print really does differ between policies and providers and they will be best placed to tell you if a claim would be successful.

Hiya, I got diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and my lymph nodes were clear, I claimed on my critical illness policy and they paid out within a few weeks. I've paid off my mortgage which is a huge relief but it feels bitter sweet as I wish I didn't have breast cancer, I wish you luck with your claim, best to call them and see if your diagnosis fits the criteria.
