I am using Bio oil gel on my wounds following extensive surgery on my abdomen 5 weeks ago. It's non greasy and doesn't sting or stain my underwear. I waited until the wounds were dry and healing before using the gel. When l had breast surgery l wore a soft bra like a crop top without wires or clips l did wear it for 24 hrs a day .
l hope your results are good

Primark is doing nice really soft post surgery bras cheaper than trusty but good M and S.I have used Aveeno the unscented with the navy blue label it's cheap in home bargains at the moment. You do need to buy your usual bra size but primark are skimpy so go up one.wide straps are a must for radiotherapy.I ended up using quite rigid bras post surgery and then buying more crop top types ones for the radiotherapy and to wear at night. You need ones to hold you well post surgery bumps on the Rd a painful nightmare otherwise!!!
I too recommend Bio oil (I can definitely vouch for it as I had no stretchmarks after using it when pregnant) and also Aveeno. One of the nurses also recommended E45 cream.
I went for front zip-up sports bras from Amazon - they were something like 3 for £18 - I'm a size 10 and an A cup but went for a large as they were much more comfortable as you do tend to have some swelling.
I got a reco bra. The link is below. I have been wearing these after a mastectomy and reconstruction and have found them very comfortable.
I used the aveeno spray as I found this easier so I wasn't have to rub my skin so much.
Best of luck with your surgery.
