On the 2nd of october which was a Saturday, I was sent to a walkin centre were I live. had blood done, as I was feeling under the weather. went home. and recieved a phone call the same night. some one from the centre asked if I had had a blood test., Turns out my haemaglobins had fallen to a drastically low level.. and needed to go to hospital.
I wasn't to impressed as two weeks earlier I had spent thrre weeks there. I was told in no uncertain terms that my heat could be put under stress and eventually have a cardiac. Oh so it's bad then, her reply was an ambulance had been dispatched and would be here within the hour, that was at 19.44pm Saturday night. the ambulance arrived Sunday at 8.30am. was given multipule blood transfussions. and spent 4 weeks in the hospital.I was due to have an assessment to see if I was fit enough to be put on the liver transplant list. that should have been over a five day period in a midlands hospital that deals with transplants. that turned out to be another 3 week stay. & weeks all told, but I'm still having problems. and I don't want to return to hospital, in case the amit me to another stay.
In december I get the results from the midlands hospital. even though they have said it all depends upon my heart scan, If it shows any kind of problems, then I have been told I will not be considered for a transplant. then my only option is to wait for the grim reaper and what ever pain comes with liver failure.
