Hello TraceyLeve
I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with some side effects from Tamoxifen. They really can be quite miserable and have a big impact on your daily life.
Please do get in touch with your GP. There are medications available that may be able to help with the symptom that you've described. You might also want to get in touch with your Breast Care Nurse to let them know how things are going. They may be able to recommend supplements/medications or arrange for you to see the Consultant to discuss the Tamoxifen and any other options that may be suitable for you.
I do hope that things settle and improve for you soon.
Best wishes,

Hi TracyLeve,
A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear of how you're suffering with Tamoxifen. I was the same and my breast care nurse was very helpful. First of all we tried a medication to reduce the sweating - this didn;t help me. Then we tried a mild anti-depressant - this reduced the night sweats and improved my low mood. After a year on Tamoxifen, I developed another cancer and changed over to Letrazole.
Phone your breast care nurse and see what she suggests. I hope that you find something to help. Please keep in touch and let us know. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
