You may be one of the lucky ladies who doesn't suffer the worst of the potential side effects. I'm going to be on letrozole after I've completed radiotherapy. Can't say I'm looking forward to it xx

Hi Liz,

As JaneRu has said, "you may be one of the lucky ones". Not everyone experiences any side-effects, but some of us can find them quite hard. I took Tamoxifen 12 years ago, when I was diagnosed with my first bout of breast cancer. The side-effects started within weeks.

Hi Liz,

I've been on Tamoxifen for nearly 6 years and apart from menopausal symptoms - which started during chemo, and before I started Tamoxifen, I haven't experienced any side effects really.  I hope you get on okay with it.   I did find that adjusting the time of day that I took it helped.  I now take it last thing at night and that seems less disruptive.   xxx
