ALK Positive Lung Cancer

My mum has just recently been diagnosed with ALK Positive Lung Cancer it has been really hard the past few months as we didn't know what kind of cancer it was. I'm just wondering if anybody else is going through the same thing and how there dealing with body weakness etc??

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of the situation with your mum - I hope you are getting on OK and I hope that it has at least helped a little to know what is going on.

    My reply here will boost your post so a few more people should see it, and if there is anyone with similar experience then hopefully they'll be along soon. You can also try searching the forum, using the button in the blue bar above, to find any potentially relevant discussions on here.

    You may have already seen this but there is also this website from ALK Positive UK, which includes a link to a Facebook support group, in case this is helpful.

    Hi Ben,

     

    Thankyou for your response it truly means a lot. My mum has been out today doing some Christmas shopping and it's amazing seeing her doing the things she loves.
