Breast cancer, chemo & seroma

Hi, I've had a double mastectomy, lymph nodes removed and am now in the middle of chemo. I keep developing a seroma under my armpit and left boob (side the lymph nodes were removed). Anyone else had something similar? How long does it last? At the moment, I keep getting drained each week. Looking forward to be able to sleep!

i had a lumpectomy and lymph node clearance 5 weeks this coming Thursday. I too had a seroma which had to be drained 3 times, I then got an infection it it.
The amount of fluid leaking has stopped over the last few days, I have not taken the dressings off to dry let the wound dry out and it seems to be working. It's still very sore etc
I hope this starts to improve for you.

Thank you. I've had a few infections and anti-biotics. Maybe it'll start to improve once the chemo has finished?! Hope you're feeling better soon
