After mastectomy without reconstruction pain

Hi everyone,its been a week since I have done the mastectomy,in general I am ok but its looks like the skin is too tense above the breast and neck muscle,I can't strech it ,and I have no drains and I can hear the liquids when I walk or do any movements.

Anyone here having these problems?

It's common to have fluid build up with or without drains. Speak with your consultant. I have seroma (fluid build up) and I've been drained a few times since surgery

Thank you Daisy,how long it took you to recover from surgery,it looks like my seroma its getting better so maybe I dont need to drain it,but I will speak with my consultant.

I had a double mastectomy with breast reconstruction and lymph node removal. I was comfortable after 6 weeks. Important to do the physio stretches. I had cording as well and stretching helped and continues to do so (4 months later)
