Hi
Just read your post and I have just had lumpectomy 9/9/21 and I had axillary clearance. 3cm tumor and 2 lymph nodes cancerous. The surgery was okay as lympectomy .the only discomfort was axiallary clearance and the drain.but it was manageable. Button up everything for comfort. And plenty of rest. Best of luck
P.s I don't know what you at but I think 2 weeks off is a bit too little. You will be tired and sore and although you will have energy to go for walk etc. You are not allowed to do lifting or anything to cause discomfort. It is your health and in order to recover fully you should avoid the above for a month at least
Hi
I had a lumpectomy feb this year grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma 2.4cm lump. Everyone is different, remember that. I agree two weeks off work is not enough . You need to rest for a month at least , no lifting etc even if you feel like your okay. You will have exercises to do , thats tiring enough in the first week or so x
