Coronavirus and chemotherapy

Hi, 

My partner finished chemotherapy and radiotherapy 3 weeks ago. I have been off work during his treatment stage and am due to go back to work tomorrow. I am a carer and have been informed that there is a coronavirus outbreak within the service soi will be having to support people who have the virus.

Is this a risk to my partner? How compromised is his immune system? I am unsure on what to do now!

    It's understandable that you're feeling worried about your partner as you're due to go back to work shortly. 

    We do have some information about Covid19 and cancer on our website which may be of help but I'd encourage you to get in touch with his Consultant or clinical nurse specialist if he has one as they will be best placed to give you some more personalised advice and information.
