Hi there, I am week 2 of dense dose EC chemo for breast cancer. Doing ok but have had heart burn and wind. Think I might I have drinking too much mint tea! Has anyone tried ginger tea or Manuka honey for heartburn and wind. Thanks!
Good morning Toppy sorry to hear you are suffering with this it does get better, hasn't the hospital supplied you with Lanzoprazole they worked wonders for me but soon after taking it you do burp and have wind alot it's like it all comes out. I have to avoid spicy food and fizzy drinks this makes it worse. For some reason the hospital only gives me five days supply but I requested some more from my doctor. Hope you feel better soon. Let me know how you get on.
Morning Holmesl, thanks for getting back and glad things are getting easier or you. I've been given anti sickness, metoclopramide, back up but not for heart burn. Starting 3 days of steroid pills today and 1 week of DIY bone boosting injections tomorrow. I'll see how it goes on bananas and oatmilk. Thanks again
Ask for some medication for your heartburn please don't suffer, also after my three days of steroids I noticed you seem to go downhill for a few days this will pass and you'll start to go back up again, I start the paclitaxel next week hoping it will be ok, take care x
