I've just finished EC for breast cancer and start Docetaxel for 3 cycles from tomorrow. If you've been on it, how did you find it. I expect it to be more taxing in various ways, but did anyone actually find it easier than EC?
Hi. I had 6 cycles diagnosed. Had it on a Wednesday and side effects kicked in on the weekend initially. My 6 th session which should be the last caused more severe symptoms.
Because my cancer is rare I was given the choice of a further 2 sessions. They damn near killed me but I did survive and the cancer didn't.
All I can say is that you should rest, eat or whatever as you feel it. Don't try and push through, listen..... your body has side effects for a reason. Be kind to yourself. Eat healthy, be healthy and remember that YOU are unique!!! Just because someone else has an effect it doesn't mean that you will. Each and every cancer journey is unique because we are.
