Information re chemo drug and radiotherapy

Hi, I have just joined the website and hoping that someone may be able to help me. I was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in my lung a few years ago and currently take everolimus. Recently I have also been diagnosed with breast cancer, and following surgery and the discovery of an area of invasive cancer, i now have to have radiotherapy. Is their anyone out there who is also on everolimus that has had to have radiotherapy?

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Buffy although I'm sorry you're now contending with a second cancer diagnosis.

I've had a quick look through the forum for you and unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone in the same situation at this moment in time. I'm not sure if you're already familiar with them, but you may be able to find others with experience of this via Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. To find out more, just click here.

You can also talk things through with our team of cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Wishing you all the best with your radiotherapy when the time comes Buffy.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
