Prostate cancer journey so far

Hi, just a week through surgery at 44 and the only thing that's bothering me is the catheter (Comes out in 6 days - woohoo) and the unknown regarding EF and continence. 

The pain is nothing to worry about, day 1&2 were the worst but I never took anything stronger than paracetamol and ibuprofen. 

I did however have both Retzius and Nerve sparing surgery by one of the best surgeons in the country, so am hoping for favourable outcomes for both.

    I bet you are counting the days to get rid of that catheter - not long now woohoo!

    Thank you for sharing your experience. It will be useful to others who are currently going through the same. I am glad that the pain has been bearable for you and that paracetamol and ibuprofen did the trick. 

    It's great that you had this surgery by one of the best surgeons in the country so fingers crossed that you make a full and swift recovery.
