Hi all. Not done this before..   

I was diagnosed with breast cancer which has spread to lungs and liver... HER2  so managable so far.   Feel fine and gone through Chemo... now on Immunotherapy treatment.    My questions are:

1. Has anyone has the new pertzamab/Trastuzumab injection treatment and did you have any side effects and..

2. My friends are asking me to go on a 3 day mini cruise in August.   I am fully vaxed for Covid but unsure whether my immune system is still a concern..

Any advice would be much appreciated  xxx

    I am having Herceptin and Perjeta combined. It is a lot easier having it in one injection. Not many side effects only aches and pain mainly joint pains.

    Hi Sheila. In answer to your first - no, sorry, can’t help with that one. For Q2, this one made me yelp! As much as you might dearly love to take that cruise, I would strongly advise against it. Your immune system is almost certainly still weak and although you’re vaccinated you are still vulnerable to infection from Covid-19 (not immune) and any other kind of infection going. Take care of yourself.
