Tamoxifen

I have been on Tamoxifen since December 2020 and despite the joint pains am also experiencing hot flushes.  I know these are a couple of the side effects but have noticed that the flushes seem to be getting more and more.  I'm post menopausal but couldn't go on Letrazole because of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis in hips and spine. Anyone else out there having the same issues.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Hey I am, I went through the change at 32 no effects. Fast fwd to cancer and letrozole, bang back into the change. Symptoms are horrible especially the sweats, they come and go mostly come lol.

    Unfortunately it's a side effect of being a survivor.

    Most meds to help with the sweats has estrogen in, so I can't have them as my cancer was estrogen driven. Not much help I know but your not alone xc

    Hi there

    Thanks for your reply - the sweats are awful and like you my BC was also oestrogen driven.  Oh well, on the positive side we're survivors so what's a few (hundred) sweats.
