Hi all,
I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in October 2018, which had already spead to my right auxiliary lymphs. I had surgery followed by 4 sessions of AC chemo and then another 4 of Docetaxel and finished up with 15 sessions of radiotherapy. I was all clear until February/March this year. I found out in April that it's back and has metastasised to my lymphs, liver and bones.
I've had an array of tests, scans and a biopsy and am currently waiting for the results to see if I can join a clinical trial.
Although my oncologist said the information on the internet is very outdated and they are improving new treatments every week, I'm still terrified by the possible prognosis. I'm getting anxiety on a regular basis and I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that was currently in remission after similar diagnosis?
The staff at all the hospital's have been lovely and very helpful. I've got an amazing support network and 2 beautiful children, but I'm terrified.
Thanks in advance! x
