As your symptoms remain despite the antibiotics, it would be worth giving your GP a call again on Monday and saying that the antibiotics don't seem to be helping. They will be able to tell you more about what it might be and whether there is any possible link with your kidney cancer. 

I hope you manage to speak to your doctor again soon and that your symptoms subside.
