Feeling good

Fur the 1st time since I got the routine mammogram recall letter 3 weeks ago I'm feeling safe & pretty good . my cancer diagnosis was handled very badly at the breast assessment centre but today I met my breast surgeon & I'm finally feeling some stability & security in a very scary few weeks . I've still got my MRI   Results to go , but whatever they bring my I know I can do it . At the moment it's lumpectomy route , but even knowing that could change doesnt phase me now .Can't recommend my hospital & McMillan team highly enough .

    I'm so pleased to hear that you're feeling less anxious about things after meeting your Consultant. Approaching things with a positive response can make such a big difference to how you're able to cope with things and it's great to hear you say that you can do this.

    Hi Beats29,

    It sounds like you are where I was I January! We all know things can change and be sure to know if they do, you can deal with it! My treatment plan changed a few times but I got my head round it and hit it head on!
