Moving on following diagnosis

My wife was recently disgnosed with BC, and following surgery is now recovering at home awaiting her treatment plan. This was obviously a big shock, however we are keen to move on in life and put this behind us. We are very fit, active people who enjoy bike rides, running and we tend to eat heathily most of the time. We are also very sociable people and enjoy going out and also have a passionate love of wine (probably a couple of bottles at the weekend).

Moving on from diagnosis, I'm interested to understand people's opinon on alcohol in order to prevent a reaccuarnce? Have you changed at all, reduced or become tee-total, or do you keep everything in moderation. I'm aware that alcohol produces estrogen which is the main factor in my wife's diagnosis.

Any thoughts would be gratefully recieved.
