Having a Pleural Drain put in. Has anyone had this done?

I have twice had fluid drained at outpatients in the past few weeks but tomorrow I have to go in and have a drain put in with a view to having pleorodosis procedure. I am terrified both of having to go into hospital but also of this procedure. Has anyone else had it done. I feel like running away.

    How did you get on with the plueral drain being fitted the other day? I hope the team looking after you were able to put you at ease throughout the procedure and you're recovering well.
