Depression after chemo. Radiotherapy starting soon.

Struggling to cope with depression after chemo but before radiotherapy. Woul love to zoom chat to speak to people as written help doesn't really help. Does anyone know if this is possible.

  • Welcome to the Cancer Chat community Gloo although I'm very sorry to hear you're struggling at the moment.

I can see on your profile you've tried telephone therapy. Although you felt it didn't work for you it's good you're trying to reach out to get the support you need at this time.

Hopefully some of our members will get back to you soon but we just wanted to let you know that Cancer Chat is designed as an anonymous forum and safe space that is moderated by experienced moderators. As such we can’t be held responsible for any conversations which take place outside of the community.

To protect the privacy of our members we don't allow any personal details (such as phone numbers, full names or email addresses) to be mentioned on the forum. More information about this can be found in our terms and conditions

Do take care when meeting people online or in real life Gloo, and be sure to take precautions. If you'd like to chat to members prviately on the forum we would recommend using our private messaging function. You can find out more just here as well as some handy pointers on how to stay safe.

I hope this information we have about cancer and depression will prove useful as well.

Wishing you all the best with your radiotherapy.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
