My mum is 83 and was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer for the past 18 months. She has had 2 single doses of radiotherapy. She has severe rectal pain that is helped by oromorph and fentanyl but she also has a continuous sore sphincter. We have tried every possible cream, both over the counter for piles and prescription but none have helped. Is this part of the symptoms and can anyone offer any advice PLEASE!
