Hi all,

Have stage 4 breast cancer and on capecitabine after trying other things over last year that didn't work.

Scans this week showed liver mets shrinking and no further spread in bones or new mets.

Walked over 200 miles in January to raise money for local charity.

Side effects of capecitabine not good but sooo happy to be on this treatment!!!

Hello,
It’s brilliant that after a year of other treatment you had been offered capecitabine and it’s working out extremely well for you with your results.
Side effects of all types of Chemotherapy are not good and vary in each one of us.
Your short post is a positive response to the fight against cancer including your walk for charity after 12 months of treatment.

Hi I have just recently last month infact been diagnosed with Secondary to my Liver and have been put on Capecitabine just started round 2. Would love to hear how you are and how your doing. Are you still on the same drug hope it's working for you. At the moment I feel fine and no real side affects apart from the feet. It's a very scary journey and looking for hope. X
