Hi Nigel,

It's difficult to say as all hospitals are working differently due to Covid. On average, you should expect to start treatment within 2 weeks of your Oncology appointment, as long as they have your scan results at the appointment. 

I don't know how much information you already have regarding the treatment options you will offered, dependant on your BRAF status. I will send you a friend request so that we can chat by private message should you want any further information.

They didn't mention anything about BRAF status but l didn't think to ask TBH. I would presume it's done automatically? I guess this'll all be covered in the oncology appt.

They are removing another mole as well as they didn't like the look of it.

Yes, they will have your BRAF results at the appointment as they need these to know whether you have options between targeted & immunotherapy.
