Hi, my husband was diagnosed with HPV tonsil cancer in July and finished his course of radiotherapy and chemo in November. We have just been for a check up after his pet scan and although it has reduced they are uncertain if it has all gone. They don't know if it's scare tissue or if he needs surgery. Has this happened to anyone and what surgery have u had. I am scared for him but trying to stay positive. We don't go back for another 6 weeks to test it and the wait is hard.
