I am posting here as I have almost come to the end of my chemo treatment and will have my last cycle in a couple of days. I was so frightened when I went in for my fist cycle and so scared going home fearing how my body would react. I know I was possibly lucky but personally I had no side effects except fatigue after the fourth cycle and didn't take any of the many meds I was given if I did have any. The only thing I had was constipation. But I solved that easily by taking a laxative the night before my chemo session to ensure I went to the bathroom before chemo the next morning so I went in empty as it were. I really recommend this. Everyone is different of course but I wanted to share with those about to start chemo that some people have a very easy ride and you may be one of those people. If you are reading this and about to start chemo the thought of it is often far worse than the reality. I had a very good experience all things considered and I hope you do too.
