  • Hi there, your diagnosis is more or less very similar to mine. I've just had 3 rd chemo . I also caught covid between 1 and 2 in hospital where I got sepsis. Now it's all managed differently. I have no nausea or sore mouth as for for first 7 days sent home with pump that delivers constant nausea medication. My appetite much better , they also extended my steriods for a few days for the awful side effects and brought my dosage down on one of the chemos by 30 percent. Scan date it's working so adjustments can be made . I also have the injections to prevent my white cells dropping day 5- 10. What a difference it has made I handled last chemo so much better. Mouthwash ( green one) from day 1 X2 day plus daktarin for prevension  of mouth thrush for 7 days . Mouth was much better yes food dies taste but cardboard for few days. Good luck prevention better than cure. Xx

  • Stay strong! You will get there.

Just with regard to grapefruit cordial or juice. Grapefruit is best avoided when  on treatment. It's not that well known but it isn't good to take it when on a number of prescribed medications.

Your treatment may get easier when you change drugs. Hoping very much this is the case for you.
