Hi, so my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. He's had a number of scans, and treatment of chemo & immunotherapy and the cancer is stable. However he had a scan at beginning of the month. Macmillan nurse rang just to see how he was doing, and she'd asked whether the nurses had spoken to him as yet. Which they hadn't. She'd mentioned the cancer was stable and next appointment to see consultant was due april. He recieved a letter a few days ago which has been brought forward to mid February. Now I'm panicking whether we'd misheard the macmillan nurse, or if she didn't know results from latest scan. And as to why its been brought forward 2 months early..

Anyone else had this, along with decent news.
