I had prostate cancer - Gleason 4+5 - a few years ago and it was treated by RT and Zoladex. I had the last Zolly implant 3 years ago. Since then I have suffered what is to me massive muscle loss. It feels as though I am wearing a suit of heavy armour together with deep-sea diver's boots. I do 15-20 mins Pilates a day and a walk. I can walk a mile but have to rest (30 secs to a min) every few hundred yards. My strength doesn't seem to be changing much one way or the other. Anybody had a similar experience? What is a likely prognosis? The oncologist did say "the hormones will always win" when I said right at the beginning that I would have to work hard to counteract the side effects of the hormone treatment!

Any thoughts/experience?
