I have recently had a Lumpectomy for DCIS and am now waiting for Radiotherapy. Has anyone got any advice or tips on handling this and any recommendations for a good moisturiser to use? Also how many sessions are normal?

We've some information on our website about radiotherapy for breast cancer which you may find helpful and answer some of your questions. Do speak to the radiologists about moisturisers as they will be best placed to advise.
I know from the posts that I've read here on the forum that the number of sessions given can vary, especially as since last year some hospitals implemented a new regime based on the most recent research. Your Consultant will decide which is the best option for you based on your history.
