I'm due my operation on Fri 18 dec I'm absolutely petrified of having a general anesthesia I'm so scared I won't wake up from it,it's day surgery it takes about 45 mins xxx
Hi Emmajade I had my surgery Friday 11th the same as you. I went to theatre at 3.15 in revovery by 5 and home in my own bed by 8pm. I was fine after the op cup of tea piece of toast and the loo before I was discharged. Hope this puts your mind at ease a little xxx
Thank you for the reply it does put my mind at ease a little my surgeon said it is light anastetic I will wake up pretty quick so fingers crossed it will go well xxx
I had breast surgery and sentinel lymph node removal on 9th December. I was nervous about it because I'd never had a general anesthesia before. I went down about 3.45 and was awake and having a cuppa and sandwich about 6.00 and home about 8.
Never new a thing about it, so don't worry.
I was told prior to going down all about the procedure and what happens and that made me feel more relaxed.
So ask them any questions or concerns you may have.
