Cysts post treatment

Hiya,

 

Hope everyone's keeping well!

 

Mum had breast cancer which included 12 rounds of chemo, lumpectomy and radiotherapy. It's been 7 months since her radiotherapy but she's started to get multiple painful cysts underarm which she never got before. 

Is this normal? I couldn't find anything about it online 

Would love to know if this is something anyone's experienced before and how they got rid of it

    I'm sorry to hear that your Mum has developed some problems post-treatment. Hopefully, if we've any members here who have been through similar they will reply to share their experiences with you. 

    If your Mum has not already been in touch with her breast care nurse or the team at the hospital then I'd encourage her to give them a call to talk things through as well. 

    If you'd like to speak to one of our nurses for some advice then do give them a ring. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. 

    I hope things settle for her soon.
