Gabapentin - how long till I feel an improvement

Hi, I'm 12 days post op following axillary node clearance ,having been diagnosed with Lobular Breast Cancer.Just been started on Gabapentin for nerve pain.Can anyone tell me how soon they felt relief after commencing this drug.Doing really well otherwise ,but struggling to get relief.Thanks in advance.
