  • Hello NellyJerrymc

I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis and all the changes that have happened to date with your treatment plan. It sounds reallly positive that the Consultant is still talking about your treatment being curative even though the plans have changed.

I think it's understandable that all of this has caused your anxiety to worsen. Most people who are diagnosed with cancer will struggle with anxiety at some point.
I don't know if you've ever come across Anxiety UK but they have lots of information about coping strategies available on their website as well as a number of different support services available.

I wonder if you also might find it helpful to speak to our nurses about your upcoming treatment. They may be able to offer you some advice and support. If you'd like to chat with them then pleae do give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

I hope that treatment starts as planned next week and that everything goes smoothly for you.

    Best wishes,
