Has it spread??

I was diagnosed in April 2020 with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer.. anyone that knows about cancer knows that this one is the worst and quickest spreading cancer. My liver function has never been right and it's getting worse. I have a CT scan tomorrow and they are checking to see if it has gone to my liver and I am petrified. Got a son of 10, I'm 32 and I'm just not ready to die yet.. I am petrified

  • Hello

sorry to hear of your diagnosis, and your new concerns of spreading. Stay positive, endorphines are released when positive and they fight against cancer. Take each day at a time, keep fighting, dont think about dying, think about fighting, living, time with your son, ticking off the bucket list with him, making happy lasting memories in his mind, video evrything positive, that he can keep into adulthood. Surround yourself with positive people who genuinely offer support. Take care and let us know how your test goes.

    Hi Chevsry,

Welcome to our forum. i am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis.

I just want to wish you well for your CT scan tomorrow. I have had 2 bouts f breast cancer in the past 11 years and had problems with my liver too. I was initially told that 11% of my liver was fibrosed. I had another fibroscan last year to be told that it was fine.

I now how worried I have been about this for the past 11 years, so don't envy you at the moment. I know that triple negative is not one of the best forms of breast cancer to have, but please don't think the worst. Even if it has gone to your liver, you can get better.

As Busybee has said above, "Stay positive, endorphines are released when positive and they fight against cancer. Take each day at a time, keep fighting, dont think about dying, think about fighting, living, time with your son, ticking off the bucket list with him, making happy lasting memories in his mind, video evrything positive, that he can keep into adulthood. Surround yourself with positive people who genuinely offer support. Take care and let us know how your test goes" - this is the best advice you could have been given.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

Hoping and praying that you get good news.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
