Hello DDC
I'm sorry to hear that you've found a lump. We'd always suggest that anyone who finds a new lump speak to their GP as soon as they're able to.
Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes,

Hi DDC,
Welcome to the forum.
I was diagnosed with Pure Mucinous Breast Cancer eleven years ago and, had a lumpectomy and six lymph nodes removed. When I got the post-op pathology results, I was informed that my lymph nodes were all clear. Six months later I discovered another lump in my other breast. Fortunately, this turned out to be benign. However, a year to my original diagnosis, I found another lump in my original breast and unfortunately, this was also cancerous. Second time around I had a bilateral mastectomy and, I haven't looked back since.
I know that this is no help to your question, because the answers in my case, has been yes and no. You should certainly do as Jenn suggests and, see your GP as soon as you can. This way you'll know one way or another.
Due to the current pandemic, you may find that you will initially only get a telphone consultation. However your GP can decide to bring you in for a surgery visit, but may instead refer you straight to the breast clinic, as you've already had BC once.
I know just how worrying this wait to be seen can be, so hope that you can get an appointment soon and, that nothing untoward is found.
Do please keep us updated, as we are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
