Staging

Hi,

itsbeen a while since I've been in here. I wondered if anyone could help me. My partner now has had three chemo rounds. He was told by his consultant he had stage 3 cancer bowel  cancer However we have just read a copy of his consultants letter which states stage 3-4  and a grading of pt4a grade 2 we have no idea what this means ?

can anyone help

thank you

  • Hi Lisa,

You're not alone in getting anxious. As Billy says we have to live with it, stay positive.

I've found all this sunny weather really anxiety-inducing.

I'm not having repeat surgery now, but one of the beasties they removed is still regrowing. Docs want to watch and wait as they mapped it to an area of lower grade dysplasia where margins weren't clear! I stupidly checked this morning and it's still growing. GP is being super-kind and doing bi-monthly face-to-face checks with a dermascope.

I have to learn to live with the horrid things. No one's going to give me a new suit of skin. Can't keep legs and arms covered as I'm supposed to when out because it makes me far too hot. Try and take tree-lined routes.

Hope you got some sleep last night. Am really sorry to hear about your fish. Like Billy I'd blame the hot weather and likely low oxygen. (Have you thought about getting a super-large indoor tank for any new goldfish so you can temperature control/filter/oxygenate more easily)?  Thinking of you. Stay strong. Love Sunny xx
