I had a mastectomy on May 18th and had fluid drained 3 weeks later. Fluid filled again but nurse was reluctant to drain again that was two weeks ago. The "boob" has got a lot smaller but it feels like the fluid is hardening, is this normal?
Don't know if this will help, but I had my masectomy drained 3 times over about 5 weeks ... if I were you, I'd phone your oncology team... or district nurse if you have one ... tell them your worried ... and it feels different .. I know some people think it just goes over time ... but a quick call to those who know, would be best ... Chrissie x
