My husband had ten days radiotherapy for oesophageal cancer, finishing a week ago. He feels nauseous and exhausted and is taking paracetamol every four hours. His back is red but yours sounds worse, I suppose as you had an extra week. The doctor said it will take several weeks to feel better. At the moment he has no appetite and it is hard to tempt him to eat.

So fingers crossed you will get some energy and your skin will heal before too long. Take care of yourself and rest as much as possible.

I hope your husband feels better soon, it seems that some people have hardly any side effects and some do. I'm just waiting for a precription for a dressing which will make it easier. I think the carers need some sympathy too, my partner Chris is running around after me, I couldnt have managed without him through all this.
