Mastectomy

Hi after 6 cycles of chemo I'm due to have a single mastectomy in June. My BCN has given me leaflets sent me the soft fake boob and sent pictures of what the scar will look like. Can people share there experiences of the same please. Although I'm missing my friends and family support network due to Covid they don't understand what I'm going through ️

I'm not having reconstruction. I don't fancy another op. If I was younger I probably would. I'm happy to wear my falsie.

I know big decision I'll see how I feel next year. I have big boobs so may feel lopsided if I don't. Why how old are you I'm 49?

I'm 63 and I've also got big boobs lol. I thought I'd feel lopsided but I don't.

lol I will wait and see I have been provided with the foam prothetises to wear in the interim. It's good you don't feel lopsided though lol
