I had triple negative, stage 3, breast cancer 7 years ago, went through all the treatment, but was diagnosed in January with a reacurrance. I started chemotherapy on Monday and was given the usual anti sickness and steroids to take at home, but I have also been given some Nivestim injections to take for 5 days. I have read what they are, and obviously am concnerd about the side effects. I spoke to the oncologist who said they have been prescribed as a precaution due to the Clovid 19, however I'm isolating with my family and don't feel that I'm at any higher risk, and don't want to take something that is unnecessary, that can cause other problems if I don't need it. Has anyone else found there selves in this situation, or have you decided not to take the injections? I'm well, 37 years old and hve no other underlying illnesses or complications and am technically cancer free as I had a mastectomy in March.
