Hi everyone, 

I had my mastectomy 3 weeks ago on Wednesday and had an expander fitted until I can have a reconstruction after my radiotherapy.

Anyway the expander!!! maybe I'm being a wimp, but did anyone else experience pain? I feel like its digging in at the sides, pain across the top of the breast and like a mastitis pain (that's all I can explain it as). Is this normal? I've asked a friend who is a breast cancer nurse, she said there should be no pain BUT I wanted to ask someone who has had one fitted and get their experience.
