feel corona has took over and cancer has been put on the back burner so my app is for July 17th to discuss surgery but low and behold out the blues my oncology doctor called me thursday their bringing it forward and surgery is now set for the 9th June just over 2 weeks but I’ve to get scans and another biopsy before hand I need another clip inside my breast before surgery is this normal ? I’ve also to have some radiation injected in before surgery and I have to totally self isolate for 2 weeks come Tuesday I’ve also to get a covid test done all before surgery their also going to take some lymph nodes out to test them said that I also mite need a second op then more scans and radiotherapy it all feels so real now hope you don’t mind me asking what we’re your experiences and did all go well with the covid I have to go on my own this scares me and upsets me as I know my husband and girls will be a mess waiting for call to say all went well and that I’m ok I’m a bit anxious but glad the balls rolling I’m up at hospital Thursday to get obs bloods etc done hope your all as well as can be expected what a rollercoaster we are all wish wish it was a bad dream x
