I have recently been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma and have been advised to have a full mastectomy. I am now waiting for a date where I can have.both procedures at the same time.  I got my hopes up the other day as I read that the powers that be (Matt Hancock) had announced that hospitals can start to do elective surgeries again.  Unfortunately my hospital are only doing day patients.  I think not knowing an estimate of when this will happen, and feeling like you have a ticking time bomb in your boob weights heavy.  I could have the mastectomy but as mentioned in another chat it means going through 3 ops.  If anyone gets news that their reconstruction is going ahead then please post an update!
