Hi Ceyenne, Yes, I have had stage 4 breast cancer for 6 years now and still doing well, a lady Iv'e got to know at the hospital has been 9 years. I don't know anyone with stage 4 breast cancer, but now people with stage 4 cancer can live for several years. Before stage 4 was a death sentence, but now it's treated like a chronic condition that you can live with. I don't want to give you any false hope as every cancer is different and responds differently to treatment but don't lose hope either. I've come across people on here with stage 4 cancer who have been living for several years and are doing well. I've heard of stories of people my mum has met at hospital or from friends who know people who have stage 4 and have been alive for years. There are defintiely a lot more treatment options available now than in the past. If your doctors are offering you treatment then I'd take that as a good sign.

just thought i'd let you know about a support group i have just joined on Facebook. It's called "secondary breast cancer support group." Lots of ladies on there living with stage 4 and managing well and lots of support and advice.
