Letrozole

Hi everyone 

I started taking Letrozole around 6 weeks ago, a couple of weeks before my lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. Side effects seem to be worsening at the moment (very stiff sore legs, which are restless at night and keep me awake, bad hot flushes and night sweats which had pretty much stopped for me after 11 years, before taking this medication, and I also have very little energy). I'm wondering if side effects eventually settle down, or worsen with time?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're' struggling with the side effects of Letrozole. I know that lots of ladies here will be able to empathise with what you've described. 
    Do speak to your breast care nurse as there are options that they can suggest that may help with the flushes and sweats.
