Is it worth more chemo treatments if remission no guarantee?

I am due to have my fifth treatment next week and I know the after effects are going to make me feel very ill and poorly for a few days after.

my question is has anyone decided to stop chemo before the end of their treatment and gone into remission?

my doctors have already told me not to expect to be in remission after all the treatment is completed.

Hello Jayjay100,
I can understand that you would be worried about the after effects of treatment. Your doctor will plan your course of chemotherapy according to your needs so it can change depending on circumstances so, if any side effects occur, its important to keep in contact with your team so they can manage them. I think this is worth bearing in mind and if you need further advice, our team of nurses are available from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
