Would like to ask if anyone else has had their radiotherapy changed from 15 sessions to 5. With increased intensity to make visits to the hospital more minimal.
I'm unsure what type of cancer you're due to have radiotherapy for. We know that whan a patients treatment plan changes it can cause them to be worried.
We are aware that some patients are having changes to their radiotherapy plans such as the one you've described. Hopefully if we've any members here currently going through the same they will be able to post up and share their experiences with you.
Have you been for your planning session yet? This will be a great opportunity for you to speak to the radiographers about any concerns that you have as they are the experts.

I'm the same boat. Have my planning CT scan next week and have been told will be having 5 sessions instead of 15. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September and finished chemo 2 weeks ago. I've been told lots of research has been done and it's just as successful. Not sure about side effects.
