Has anyone else having problems sleeping at night after chemo sessions? Really struggling to sleep! I'm getting 2-3 hours sleep max a night, lasts for about 3-4 day's
Are you having steroids with your chemo? Mu hubby has 12 steroid tablets on his chemo day, and the 4 a day for the following 3 days. It is the steroids that stop him sleeping and grumpy lol. The doctor gives him small amounts of sleeping tablets and they help a bit, once the steroids wear off he sleeps a lot. Hope this helps a bit. Best wishes Chrisx
Hi you just need to ask doctor for sleeping tablets due to your steroids and he will give you what is suitable with your condition and meds. He only gives him small amounts at a time. Hubby has zopiclone 3.75 but he has other conditions and is in palliative care, you may need a different one.
